Clinical trials and translational research pillar
Cancer Core Europe’s clinical trials will benefit from expedited contracting and the ability to quickly open trials across all member centers. Our expertise in clinical biostatistics and methodology will support innovative next-generation clinical trial design. And the harmonized procedures put in place facilitates Cancer Core Europe’s interactions with pharmaceutical industry partners.
Phase l Platform
The phase 1 platform brings together the expertise and knowledge of dedicated early phase clinical trial experts and their resources and facilities.
Basket of Baskets (BoB)
iModular, open-label, Phase II, multicentre study to evaluate targeted agents in molecularly selected populations with advanced solid tumours. Its main objective is to evaluate the antitumor activity of each matched therapies in small patient population as a signal finding or proof of concept study.
CCE_DART
Aims to incorporate newer and more effective methods to the design and implementation of novel, more robust and effective clinical trials in oncology by exploiting the mass data generated throughout these studies.
SIMPATHY
Aims to produce a detailed map of the tumour immune microenvironment before, during and after failure of ICI treatment with the anti-PD-L1 monoclonal atezolizumab, contextualized with genomic and systemic immune features.
What´s Next
We are currently engaged in multiple initiatives, including the development of the BoB, ongoing efforts in CCE_DART, and the consolidation of both the Phase I Platform and the Rare Cancers working group. We are also actively identifying and addressing future needs in Clinical Trials that will be adresses through specialized taskforces.
These taskforces will identify key scientific questions which will constitute the main focus of our research. Our aim is to work on innovative proposals to accelerate cutting-edge discovery and translate our findings to the clinic.
